This anatomical veterinary illustration of the solar insertion of the deep digital flexor tendon onto P3 was created to be utilized within a powerpoint presentation for equine veterinary students who were studying various gait abnormalities in the fore limb of the horse. The flexed view of the limb allows the viewer to understand and appreciate the positioning and anatomy of the lower limb without a lot of other structures in the way.
